Located for the eastern city of Chiang Mai, Thailand, about 9 km, Bo Sang formerly part of the ancient Lanna kingdom with many beautiful temples and rice fields fertile, but more striking is the craft of making handmade box.
Bo Sang in Thai means " umbrella ". Currently, cell profession for over 5 centuries. Initially, the small village, the family gathered over many cell generations. Gradually, the village expanded with sonorous reputation of sophisticated products. Today, all the villagers are living by doing manual box.
Bo Sang produced mainly from automobile sunshades made from bamboo, silk and paper made from trees Sa. To make Sa paper, the bark was boiled in a large tin box about three hours.
